Wheel of Fitness:
This can be used as a way to pre-teach key terms, instant activity to reinforce concepts, cool-down closure, etc. I like this for all of the above.

***Until I build a "Fitness Wheel" this summer this is how we will play***
Wheel of Fitness "How to" Without the Wheel
- Divide class into 4 groups (Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple)
- 1 cone in each corner of the gym (Corner 1, 2, 3, & 4) have different exercises printed on cards underneath the cone. I usually print out 20 different exercises and place 5 at each cone.
- I use the app "Randomly" so that the student randomly selected gets to choose a letter. This is a quick & fair way for students to participate without calling out.
- If the student selected guesses a correct letter he/she gets to choose which corner their group will exercise at (choosing 1 exercise printed out, under the cone. If the student selected guesses a letter that is not in the puzzle, the next student is quickly selected using "Randomly."
- If the student selected is able to "Solve the puzzle" they get to choose the locomotor movement the whole class will perform, moving clockwise around the perimeter of the gym.
